Kelly’s Heroes

GGP Installer Awards is pleased to confirm its 2024 charity partner is Kelly’s Heroes.

Kelly’s Heroes was formed in 2019 after the devastating loss of Kelly Hewitt, who aged just 24, took her own life following her struggles with mental health. Her family set up the charity as a legacy to Kelly and to help those bereaved by suicide.

Unless you are affected or know someone struggling with mental health, it can be difficult to understand. There is often still a stigma associated with it, leaving many to suffer in silence. Our aim is to raise awareness and help to prevent suicide.

We all have a role to play in looking out for friends, family and colleagues who may be suffering. Pay special attention to some of the warning signs and it could be that just a few nice words or listening to them could save their life.
